Pittsburgh Refugee Center (PRC) was incorporated as a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit in March 2003. Its mission is to empower refugees to become self-sufficient and integrated into their new communities. Ultimately, PRC wants refugees in Allegheny County to have an improved quality of life, be fully integrated into their local communities and achieve self-sufficiency through attainment of economic, social, and educational equality.
